February 2023 - The Twitter #technology Wall -- eBits n ByteZ -- Issue #031 February 01, 2023 |
Welcome To The eBits n ByteZ Monthly NewsletterThe Twitter #technology WallThe Twitter Wall is a new, modernized feature on eComputerZ to bring you the latest #technology news. The previous instances were outdated in terms of their setup, although the content was still good. Twitter has obviously been in the news recently with the Elon Musk takeover, and I'm sure you are aware of the different opinions on Twitter out there. My thoughts are that it is a technology platform for sharing content, which is a useful source of relevant information for sites such as eComputerZ, assuming you set the service correctly. I hope I have done this. Take a look and see what you think. DeepMind AIThe Google DeepMind AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is one of the breakthrough moments of the 2010s. You may have seen the press coverage about ChatGPT, an extremely sophisticated, open source, and recently released AI system, that is doing some remarkable things, like passing MBA exams, for example. Well, DeepMind AI was the pioneer that has brought us to this moment with Chat GPT. In the article, we look at the history of DeepMind AI. We then look at the main pros and cons of Artificial Intelligence, which is a source of strong debate in my experience talking to other I.T professionals. We then look at the specific technologies that AI, and DeepMind AI, have evolved into over the subsequent years, including Chat Bots, and Healthcare (a subject close to my heart). The Return of the Search BarThe Search Bar has retuned after a 12-month hiatus. Instead of navigating to the Search page, you can simply enter your search term in the box at the top of each page, whether you are on a desktop PC or a mobile device. I wasn't happy with how it slowed down the site previously, but this issue appears to have been resolved.
Page ReviewsI am steadily working through all the existing pages, and updating them with the latest information. This will take a while, but I'll advise which pages have been done here. So far, I have reviewed the Home Page and the About Page. Part of the review is to add new video content, which I briefly mentioned in the last newsletter. I've managed to complete about 5 videos only so far, which aims to present a quick summary of the page in question. This way, you can see more easily whether the page content is right for you or not. The videos are hosted on Humix. You can watch one of the typical videos below. Final ThoughtsThank you for taking the time to read this month's newsletter. As usual, if you need any help, or would like to get in touch for any reason, please do so. Until next time, take a moment to review my social media platforms. You are welcome to like or follow. |
